did you expedite? we have the same timeline and same center but looks like I’m stuck at received

yeah I did. they received my expedite request on 7/22 and from then on I kept contacting USCIS through Emma for updates almost daily. then on 8/23 a nice agent helped submitting my request to be contacted by a tier 2 officer and the very next day on 8/24 I got the phone call. after that on 8/25 I got the “new card is being approved” notice and my case was approved lol

hi! we didn’t talk that much tbh. she asked me what I needed help with, and I asked if she could help with my expedite request from almost a month ago. she confirmed the reason for my expedite request and told me I should get an email within 2-3 days. in the end I never got any email back, but my case did get approved…I’m honestly not sure what happened either 😂

how did you get to talk to a tier 2? did you ask specifically for a tier 2 or?

I guess I got very lucky. the agent I talked with through Emma kindly offered to set it up for me when I said I hadn’t had any updates for almost a month. the previous agents I talked to didn’t even let me do that and just told me to keep waiting…

wow that seems pretty fast congrats. I'm waiting longer than that and I still haven't heard anything from them

no worries. when you go to USCIS site, there’s a chat window where you can talk with their virtual agent called Emma. you can request for a “live agent” and from there you should just need to follow the instructions she gives you to connect to one. I think you’ll have to wait for business days again to get a live agent though.

can I ask, was your biometrics for the i765 or for the i485? i had my i485 biometrics already but i765 is still just under review, nothing about biometrics

I think they use the same biometrics for both

@clay they said I’d get a call within 72 hours but I got the call the next day in the morning. and the only email I got was an email summarizing the call after the tier 2 called me 🤔 @louriz thank you! my FO is in Atlanta @samina thank you! it was financial hardships/loss to me and the company as well

yeah I got the card 10 days ago

did you receive approve notice before ead card?

yeah, the approval notice was dated 8/25 and I received it in the mail on 8/31
