I got divorced then filed I-751 waiver after divorced finalized on April 2024 ( original file was January 2022). then January 2025 I filed N-400. July 2025 I got called for combined interviews ( like an hour ) officer was nice and understanding the circumstances. he didn’t ask much. I had submitted lots of evidence documents as well as supported additional documents during the interview. 2,5 years total

@Pum Pum did they say will let you know our decision by mail after your interview? I had my N-400 interview but officer also mentioned my I-751 pending. and discussed around divorce subject following which officer took my civic and English test and made me sign the oath of allegiance. however at the end she said we couldn’t yet make a decision just yet and will let you know by email. please advise

@Ri Jo the officer interviewed me said he believed my marriage but he couldn’t make a decision due to service center delay he couldn’t access to the portal then showed us the reason, then he sent an email to service center to request the access for my case, next day he approved both cases (or he approved same day but system notified me next day) make sure u already given all relevant docs and evidences for your cases that help officer make quick decision.

thanks for responding @Pum Pum. No, in my case it’s still showing Interview was scheduled and no change for I-751 either. Not sure what more it takes and how long more to wait to get a closure on this. I have requested correction on my name which was put originally by USCIS when I got the gc.
