I-751 Vermont
Married to citizen. Filed I-751 together. Applied from Ilinois, Currently in Vermont Service Center. I understood its going to be a long ride, I would like to know types of cases and their timelimes. Originally from India, as Indians do not have dual citizenship, I have mixed feelings about N-400. As our marriage is legit and happy, not worrying about the removal of conditions, but the waiting period is kind of worrying. Any advices/concerns?

@S D I applied my I-751 in July of 2023, July 2024 applied for N-400 while 751 pending, last month got my interview scheduled for both cases for 3/18/25, passed both of them and now waiting for oath ceremony

I applied Apr 2025, believe while 12-20 months seems a timeline which I read, of late seeing cases being processed and approved in 6-9 months for jointly filed applications.
My application is at VSC (Vermont Service Center) and they sent a letter for reuse of biometrics. No other updates for my filing over the last ~ 11 months - it stays as case being actively reviewed.
Do you have any updates for the I-751 community since this post of yours?

Hi @S D any updates on your I 751 processing at Vermont service center (vsc).
I applied Apr 2025 and reuse of biometrics and 48 month extension letter. That is it. Radio silence besides that.

@Jee Wah no update since then. i gave up and rarely checking my status hoping some miracle. Prepared for minimum of 12 month waiting period if not more. May apply for naturalization next year.
