I-290B Appeal (O-1A) – 130+ days pending. Transfer to AAO without status update?
Hi everyone,
Looking for experiences from anyone who filed an I-290B Appeal (not a Motion) for an O-1A / Form I-129:
Filed: Late April 2026
Days Pending: 130+ days
Current Status: "Form I-290B Received" (No status change since day 1)
Receipt: IOE
When I chatted with a USCIS agent, she mentioned the case is delayed with the AAO, but my online status never updated to "Case Was Transferred to the AAO".
My questions:
Has anyone had their Appeal sent to the AAO without the online status ever updating?
For those who filed an I-290B Appeal around April, have you received a decision yet or a transfer notice?
How long did your AAO appeal take from filing to decision?
