I-140 approved after 11 months
Finally my #NIW I-140 got approved after almost a year of anxiety. I don’t have that many publications so I was stressing out the whole time. I submitted my I-140 in Sept. 2021 in Nebraska and filed my EAD, I-131, and I-485 in January 2022. There were speculations that filing concurrently slows down the process but I think I’m lucky enough that my case got approved within a reasonable timeline. I’m also lucky to not have shed $2500 for premium processing.

yes you're lucky because we have a bunch of NIW at NSC have been waiting between 400 and 500 days lol. congrats anyway

@m&m I felt like they were processing backwards the last few weeks. there were many approvals of cases later than mine the past few weeks. I hope yours gets approved soon. I got the notification from case tracker

@lhkro T I’m not the luckiest one. mine was actually pretty normal as NSC has approved a lot of 2022 cases already. I feel bad for those in the slow pile but at least they can do PP now. many have already been approved through PP

@m&m that’s how I felt until they got to my case. hang in there. not lawfully. search case tracker on the App Store. lawfully updated later for me
