@L L - I have no idea when they actively started reviewing. All they ever give you is a receipt date and case number until they make a decision.

It's either currently at the NVC or on the way to the NVC. Supposedly within two to four weeks after receiving it gets processed and sent to the Embassy for interview

Our I-129F was approved Feb 25, 2020 and it has not moved from the NVC yet. Just a heads up. I have sent numerous inquires and spoke to them over the phone and they said we’re in the queue and I’ll be notified when it moves. Very frustrating.

congrats, our k1 was approved on june 1st and now it is sitting in NVC waiting to be in transit in the overseas embassy… so hard to be away from our love ones this long.. hoping for normal processing and clear up the backlog

congratulations Matt! atleast u got an update.

Interview date scheduled for October 15th. Hopefully I will have my fiancee here in the US by early November. The embassy emailed me the instructions and it got sent to my Spam folder for some reason. We were about a couple weeks behind getting started on the required items completed before the interview.

@Angela Hello, I believe you can check your case status at https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=NIV once it had been approved by USCIS. It's the most disorganized process I can think of for getting information.

another thing you can try, is to email the embassy where you will have your interview and ask for general information (email contact for the visa applicants) they should be able to tell you if they received a visa application from NVC.

@Matt Vogel ty so much my lawyer put ın an ınquıry a week ago or so……. i keep callıng them and askıng them for the Case # and they say ıts not there. People keep gettıng theır case numbers fast and i am so stressed ı can hardly functıon. ty aq

@Angela......not because it was approved on Oct 25th meant they sent it over the same day. mine was approved oct 12 and was sent over November 8th.
