It varies, depend on which office. I would say wait till 8-12 weeks and if no response ask your congressman or senator to contact the USCIS office. What I have heard they are doing very tight background checks on most of the EB cases, which is taking more than usual time. My case also moved to Brooklyn office and that office is very busy. I’ll wait three months before contacting to senator.

my case is at the Brooklyn FO. I got an RFE on July 2nd which I responded to July 14. No news since

@kk m which field office was your case transferred to? I am in the same boat. my case was transferred to Non-local field office on 6/10 and I-485J case was generated and added to my portal on 7/10 (though I had submitted my i-485J form with original package). no updates since then.

@lk s which FO ? mine was transferred to non local Raleigh on July 13 2024 and still nothing. I did 2 service request got response from FO that case is awaiting review. Recently i did reach out to senator office waiting ti hear vack from USCIS on congressional inquiry. @kk m

Please let us know which FO so we are aware of the deadlines. Mine was moved to TUSCON, AZ the first week of June; there have been no updates since. Two months have passed.

@Deependra chaudhary mine was transferred to Non-local Santa ana FO. what kind of service request did you raise? "Case outside normal processing"? how long did they take to respond to service request?

Mine took 9 weeks after moving to non local FO Moved to FO -> CRP Status -> Moved to NBC and got approval
