GREEN CARD IN HAND,10 YRS
I just received my GC .Valid for 10 yrs
My feelings are mixed,been here so long without any documents,probably gonna take me time to get used to be “legal” and have a freedom to go back and see my family after 8 yrs…
Im so thankful to god ,without him there is nothing.
Thank you so much for all of you who was with me on my journey.I wish you guys best of luck and speed process.
I will not delete this app,i will be here for you guys

@N.Y on my interview date Officer check my marriage license (married 2yrs 8 months) at that moment and he said im getting 10 yr gc,on the date of interview if you married less than 2 yrs you got 2 yr GC

When i submitted applications i was married for 1yr and 10 months.
I think they counting interview date .Cause if he was counting submitted date i would have received 2 yrs GC

per uscis calendar the day or month of submission is also factored

but i know he mark my date of marriage with big black marker on interview date,and i saw 2yrs 10 months
so i assume that gave me this 10 yrs GC
