we didn’t use a lawyer. questions were quite straightforward, such as names of both our parents, our birthdays, addresses, my last entry date to US, asked my husband what I do, how we met, where I was living then. asked him when he was aware of my visa situation and what was the purpose of the marriage and if it was to help with my green card. asked me why I want to get a green card. they asked the 20+ generic criminal background questions on top of their head which was impressive. asked me to define a few of the legal terms (loosely) to check if I truly understand and was not just saying no. it was more their demeanor that was a bit intimidating

I'm curious as to what the answer was to the question as to whether the marriage was based solely on helping you get the GC.

@ Rennay V he answered no it was because of love. I guess the context was more whether the entire relationship was to serve an immigration purpose

Very similar to my situation. Processing was very fast till interview but it takes long time to get approved. Im still waiting....
