how did your initial interview go?

it went really well. the officer complimented my English and told me to make sure I study for the civics test for when it’s time to study for the civics test. he told me not to throw away my EAD once I received my green card

don’t be worried. my officer was super laid back. the interview lasted maybe 30 minutes. he mainly asked me questions about the security questions on the i485

When do you have your interview? It took too long to get your interview schedule after you send your package? I just got my interview requested and Wichita is my office too.

I had my first interview in June but we got a g56 call in notice to bring all of our IDs and passports not sure if it’s a second interview or something administrative. we submitted our package on October 21st 2024.

my lawyer had it rescheduled since she wasn’t able to attend. we have the appointment next Friday the 19th

hello! how was your interview today

it went well. the officer just wanted to ask some security questions which apparently weren’t asked during the initial interview and they are required to ask all. he said I have nothing to worry about and reassured me that I would be able to visit my home country very soon.
