I-824 is taking about 2 months to process. Not the best, but also not 18 months.

its been 82 days now

almost 5 months here at NBC and still counting

:( why its sooo sloooow... we are only asking to send it to NVC or NBC

nobody knows what is behind the scenes. offices are fully furnished with cases and still receiving more each day

what was your mistake? did pick both, one of the options or left them emty?

i didnt fill the box to send to NVC

but you did fill the box for adjustment of status. correct?

@lina sbaity if you picked AOS you have to wait for i824 to be approved then forward it to nvc for consulate processing. hopefully it will go fast or transfer it to fastest center

My I-824 is in NBC and they’re completely silent. It’s been 149 days 😧

@Tek Sharma. same here where as more people with same mistake got approved within two to three months

applying for a visa can be a solution to join my husband?

applying for a visa isn't a good option for you after you get approved

so the only solution is to expedite the application

don’t worry lot of people are waiting don’t stress yourself nor your relationship with your husband it’s all about patience praying for us to be as soon as possible with our partners. if you don’t mind is your husband a us citizen or green card holder.

I 824 was submitted in July 2022, still waiting. My I 824 was with NBC initially and now they say it’s with Vermont.
