For clarity, I applied for Vawa Feb 2021, was approved April 1st 2024, rfe for medical was sent oct 15 2024, respond received oct 31 2024. Approval Dec 7th 2024. If you’re still waiting, please keep hope alive. Your approval is coming!!!!

I just got a notice for interview on my i485 based on VAWA. Has anyone attended such interview? If so, what are the likely question they may ask? I am bit worried.

@Ay Ay I never had an interview, but some folks that had interviews recently said they majorly asked about the questions on I-485 and some also said they asked about the abuse from Vawa which is new. Hope you have a lawyer, hopefully it goes well, don’t think you should be worried.

@Oma Nma how can you track it? when I got my work authorization I only updated approved then next 11 days later card produced next couple of hours said delivered so they never had a tracking numbe. my I-485 got approved 4 days ago. did your say a tracking number where ? uscis website? or you talk to someone? and they have you the tracking number for your green card?

@nancy luevano Congratulations!!!🎈🎉🎊 Yes I tracked mine. I called USCIS and requested for the tracking number, although lawfully and USCIS updated my account when card was delivered and the tracking number was available at that time.

@fadoua bahhi my Vawa was approved April, I didn’t hear from them until I started calling.. I think that helped. Maybe you should do same

@nancy luevano if you call and ask for tracking, they’ll give it to you. That was what I did.

@fadoua bahhi Call customer service 1 (800) 375-5283, say "infopass" when the auto voice lets you speak. Give the receipt number for the I-485. When you get hold of a live person, politely explain your situation.
