No, I was out of status (but I did not know) the moment that I got the notification of denial I submitted a motion to reopen reconsider with my lawyer.

i mean how did you able to remain in the United States in a lawful status while submitting the motion to reopen and waiting for the result? If it gets denied, I understand that if I do not leave the U.S. within 60 days, I would become unlawfully present.

@find eb i have my i485 pending and i485j approved. once approved they send you a approval notice.

@find eb I received an online update on supplement J and an approval letter as well. once my supplement j was approved my I-485 updated to case remains pending.

Hi. How did you know your case is located when you submitted your medical exam? I have never seem this before because you sent it without RFEs. Did you need your laywer to help you send it or you send it by yourself?

my case was at nationals benefit, and my lawyer sent the RFE, all of my process was coordinated and submitted from my lawyer :)

sorry @Alex X @Alex Alex I said RFE, but she sent my medical exam volunteering, I never received RFE.

7 years, I had J1, F1 and after applying for my green card in 2022 I received my EAD card and also renewal my EAD. I got out of status (by mistake) never got notified that was denied and the reason for denial was not valid.. never had my EAD canceled as well. my lawyer filled the motion and after 6 months uscis reopened my case recognized that the denial was a mistake from their side. thanks to my lawyer that built a great motion! 🙏

Hi, so you got a RFE but you did not know about it. Did you remember when the last time you got the medical exam?

I was denied and never knew about it, never received an mail letter or online update on my case. we sent the medical exam BEFORE I knew about the denial. sorry, I know my case is confused, but I was on case remains pending basically my whole time after submitting my I-485 and once my pd becam current we volunteered sent my medical exam and the uscis confirmed the receipt! after a few months after submitting the medical exam I’ve contacted the uscis chat and they told me that my case was denied 9 months ago..
