Oumous B my wife filed i 130 for me while i was in home country. as my wife was sick i can here on b2 visa to visit her. because of some conditions i need to continue my stay. so idont know whether its better to apply for status adjustment (i-485 ) now or to return back to my home country and wait for i 130 to approve

also applying for adjustment of status will be fine who did it for u guys is it a lawyer or ur wife self

i am planning to do it myself but i am totally confused whether to do or not. i cant afford hiring lawer , they are too expensive hahaha

J A find out if the embassy in your home country has a backlog. I would adjust status if they do, it's taking a really long time to get interview dates in some countries, up to 2 years after i130 approval
