You're seeing times all over the place because it varies. Some people wait months and other wait years. Regardless of how quickly your i130 is approved, your case is going nowhere until a visa is available, which takes 3-5years for F2A.

@Mike Raphone Thank you. And yes, I understand. In our case, we actually hope the process takes longer, since that would give us more cushion to avoid a CSPA age-out.

@Bibek b Does it make a difference if it’s AOS? I heard I-130s are approved faster through AOS than via NVC. In our case, we actually hope USCIS takes their time. Thanks!
