no it will not affect you. It will only change your processing time as your visa maybe current in the New category

not entirely sure, but I do know it’s something you should do immediately. visas for ir1 are always current so you should be able to also send in an expedite request to NVC for an interview date at the consulate

you can also attempt to email the consulate for an update? most times the wait is on their end especially since you have been DQ-Ed for so long

you should email the embassy and try to get an update because pds for the category is current.

my wife made our lawyer did that but they never responded. NVC keep sending a notification every two months (3x so far) to let me know they will call me for an interview whenever d consulate is available to take me in for my interview on first in, first out but d wait it’s frustrating! 7mths since DQ🤥

no. email the NVC at NVCexpedite@state.gov.

@cillyme they said that if i request to expedite make sure that my reason should be valid like medical, financial loss or any emergencies. :(
