F1 to I765
Hey all, I recently got my I765 approved and received the card in mail. Do I still need to be on F1?

Yes, it's safe to be in F1 while your i-485 is processing just in case your case gets denied, you have something to go back to and still be in status.

I so much agree with @Ram and @Leo. It's always safer not to use the EAD based AOS if you’re able to keep your underlying status just in case something happened to your AOS app.
