Expedite request even worth it?
Hello Community
my husband and I applied for my I130 back in October 2023 and are still waiting.
We live together in Germany with two small children (6 and 4) and he works for Amazon and is working on a transfer to the States.. Now my question, if he ends up getting the job in the states, could we apply for an expedite request bc I really don’t want him to go ahead of us bc that would be so stressful for me here. Taking care of the move and the kids and everything is just too much I feel like. We don’t need the job as far as for the financial situation bc we have enough saving that we should be okay to get the Visa either way. I hope we will hear something in the next 2/3 months, but I don’t know if they would want him to start sooner.

That won't satisfy USCIS to expedite your application.

you should have waited the new job order and file directly with the US embassy in Germany then you'd have gotten an express approval

@B G Can I not do that anymore? Or could I have it changed to consular processing?
