Expedite opportunity
I just became a recent LPR, and my son who is currently 18 will be the only one left behind in home country. I filed his I-130 in April 2024, F2A category. Do you think I can expidete his case considering his age and that he will left behind in home country?

your chances of expediting his case is slim unless there is a valid medical emergency requiring the child to be approved right away it is now typically taking about 3 years to be approved depending on country of birth if the likelihood of the child ages out by the time he/she should be approved you can contact USCIS and try to appeal your case otherwise He/She would then be categorized as F2B if they pass 21 before approval and that category is now taking well over 8-9 years depending on country
