my pd is Nov 2011 and birth country is India @ EB3 India-Mar 2011 PD

@SD EB3 or eb2? you are current in both categories. they can’t say your visa retrogressed. Chase them and ask for tier2 emergency call if need be. sometimes you have to chase them too much, there are a few trainees there who know nothing. you try until you reach the right guy to help.

they didnt say they it got retrogressive,they said it got regressed.Means when the officer opened my file on sep 21 st it didnt have any visa number as the kota for the year is done so they keep the file back.And yes i have i140 on both eb2 and eb3.we applied on eb3 and got ead .so now we approached a lawyer to do interfiling as our eb2 is also current now.

thank you we are calling them and everyone is giving different info,so we reached our local congressman.They checked with uscis and said it has moved to our local field office.

wow regressed huh? really, they wasted 83k visas last FY all the best though, @SD hope you get soon!

SD D I don’t understand this.. they opened file and saw no visa available to allocate .. really ? but it’s about a month now .. after September 30.. new visa for this year are already rolling so how is that been allocated .. how do they decide whom to allocate … I completed my interview at Chicago .. eb1 c, last week of September and still waiting .. now with your response I don’t know if I am at the front of the queue or what 😕🙄 how stressful that is … ugh !!!

ok my case is completely different from yours. you already had an interview which is good.So my pd is nov 2011,when we send our applications they have a year visas ( meaning a number of visas for a year).so on sep 21 this year they opened my case and realised that my case didnt have a visa number so they have sent my application back to my city from NBC.this process is known as regression.So hopefully i will get next month as per the agent discussion.this process is so confused and stressing me.As my daughter won 25k scholarship and cant use it unless we get our GC.We did so much research on this and spoke with bunch of agents over the phone and this is what they told us

we got EAD already in feb 2021,but the foundation is not accepting that.you know how half a people are not aware of this immigration

yea thanks.. it’s just I read here on this forum people getting approved on the spot.. or the status changing the next day makes me wonder what’s going on with my case then .. what is taking more than a month .. so lil depressing .. uh !!
