you still have to prove considerable financial loss - just because you can’t start a position - will you go broke? basically........

Call uscis and explain your situation and do another expedite request
Faisal Syed26 de abr de 2021
@ TE I expedited under Humanitarian reasons

@ Naima ovi - should I do it immediately or ask my congressman to put in a request

I am physician too. what I did was: talk to your program director. ask him/her to write a letter saying that they need you.It is not a secret that if they don't hire you they will have to find someone else to do your job and that might represent financial loses for the hospital and for you. second, contact your local congressman and ask them to help you. they will send a general inquiry to uscis which is like a flag for them to speed your process. hope you the best.

@Faisal Syed I would suggest first do it your own
Faisal Syed26 de abr de 2021
@ JJ PG I have the offer letter stating my position and stuff plus I got couple of other letters as well
JJ PG26 de abr de 2021
I will not recommend do it your own. this takes time and I was in your situation a month ago. let your program to know what is happening and how they can help you also contact your congressman ASAP it won't hurt and could help you. after I contact my congressman he resolved my problem in less than a week. now I have my green appointment in 10 days. for being physician, matched and having the offer letter in hand it is easier for them to help you compared with other cases.
JJ PG26 de abr de 2021
it is about what the letter says. as you know there are only 4 criteria for them to accept your expedite. You have to be clear with them stating that there will be financial loses for the hospital. they don't care as much about you. they care about the system and your company which is the hospital. contact your congressman and your senator ASAP they might help you with this problem.

if you get green card you won't need EAD.

I'm physician and my expedited request has been approved a few days ago under severe financial loss, after one denial last month. My PD Oct 31/21, California Service Center. The letter from the program says mandatory orientation starts on June 10. My attorney said if it's near the employment date, it's more likely approved.

Hello , I am also a physician who is applying to residency this september with the hope of matching for 2022. I filed my AOS and form i-765 in april and it has been on standstill since. I wanted to ask when you and JJ PG applied for residency via ERAS did you state at the time that you do not require a visa? Should i put that i am authorised for work in the US while waiting for the EAD or do i put that i am visa requiring and wait for the EAD then change the status on ERAS ( im reluctant to do this as it will lower my chances of match)

@A I You put in as Not authorized to work but Don't require visa
