You should contact a Social Security office if you do not receive your SSN card within seven business days after receiving your EAD or "Green Card".

It should arrive in the mail. If you don't receive it after seven days of getting your EAD, visit the nearest social security office. I had the same problem. mine was sent and i didnt receive it. It has been almost a month now , the first one didn't arrive. A new one was issued and you get a receipt right away with the number. The new one came in five days. Hope this helps. Something strange is happening to people's mail.

you don't have to go if you checked the box on the 1765 application. Wait for 7days and see.

Exactly, I don’t know. She just said they stopped doing it. And that she’ll “break the law” if she gives it to me?!?!? Nonsense.

they said the office doesn’t give card they’ll mail it to us

other people that I see post about being given a receipt with their number on it here when they visit the office

I went to apply at the office today again so which ever comes first if I get two then double great if I lose one I’ll gain one

I applied for one with my application then I applied for one at the office incase they didn’t send the one with ead..

i dont think they will issue more than 1 SSN. but hopefully we’ll get our physical cards soon!
