Yes, you can. I am a Michigan resident and renewed my driver's license last month using 485 receipts, but you have to visit SOS at least two times since they need to verify your visa status by using SAVE which takes a week to check on your status. I recommend you to bring your all old visa and your 485 receipt as well.

@dani I also got mine using my 485 receipt at Ann Arbor office. You should be able to get yours, but needs to visit two times. I recommend you to set the appointments before visiting there, by the way.

Hey guys! When you guys were applying with the receipt of your i485 form, did you also have to provide the SSA-L676 letter from social security? Or how did you guys do it?
