Derivative GC Approved before Primary Ap.
Is it normal for a derivative green card (spouse) to be approved while the primary applicant’s green card is still in process? Has anyone had a similar experience or any insights to share?

Approval depends on your case. You were probably already approved

I will advise that you wait to get approved and maybe file a correction for your dependents

I have seen several cases reported here. So I will assume it's normal for that to happen

i asked the emma (live agent), they said it is normal and nothing to be done and mentioned that my case is in final stages of decision.
