I know someone who was pending for even longer than that and was recently approved without an interview or RFE. It's unusual, but unfortunately, it does happen.

Pending from August 2024. 7 months in NBC, 5 months in Phenix field office and 2 weeks in Dallas field office. I am in MD and I would expect another transfer to my local field office if interview is required

@Mohammad Ebi how do you know all these transfer? are they listed in case status query?

@Anto A yes they used all visa for 2025. if visa number was the issue they had a whole year to approve it. don’t know what is happening with my case.

Hi @hello world and @B S , did you guys file i-765 along with your i-485 or did you file i-485 alone?....I learnt that if you dont do this, it could cause some delays. This is not a proven fact and I'm certainly not sure of how accurate it is.

@fam p I-765 was filed along with I-485 and was approved quickly after 2 months. I-131 was approved about 10 months. I don’t think it has to do with how fast your actual I-485 is processing

I have been always current since filling in May 2024. I did biometrics and got EAD on may 2024 too, after that complete radio silence and my case seems to never have left NBC
