@Luana I have a gut feeling it’s coming but people have been so negative on the Vermont Facebook group saying the k3 doesn’t do anything. I only got one notification saying my CR1 was being actively reviewed on the 19th and the k3 notice said pd February 3

@adiba I got approved 3 weeks after I send the k3, and from what I see most people that file k3 get approved faster, so don't loose hope, yours is coming

Don't get connected with those things, look for what you want and not what you don't want. Imagine the feeling of being approved and keep your energy high all day long. I got someone else's approval notification and put my number on it and I looked at it for 29 days believing that I would be approved in February. Guess what? my approval came last night a few minutes before the end of February

GN it's a visa that works for the foreign wait for CR1 in the States but lately it hasn't been approved. We sent the K3 application with our marriage certificate and the CR1 letter and thay way make them notice that you are at Cr1 process. Then they deny our K3 and approve our CR1 faster

so if I do it it would make my processing faster even if they don’t approve it ?

They will deny your K3 and approve your CR1. Just fill the i129f form, (mark that it's for spouse and not for Fiancé), print it, the American has to sign it, send it by mail with a copy of your marriage certificate and the confirmation letter of your CR1

@g n I highly recommend k3 but you are in Nebraska, so it should take 4-7 months in general to get approved. I think you applied in September so you could probably send an inquiry in a month since they’re working on august cases. did you get actively reviewed yet? it’s free and it doesn’t hurt you so I would recommend to do it.

@g n also check where your case is at with Emma they transfer a lot without saying anything

I apply on oct 4 and I asked Emma 2 times and she told me it’s still at Nebraska it was at Texas then transferred to Nebraska 4 months ago
