Cases going to local field office

we submitted in march mid and recently my case status changed to case remains pending (the PD has been current all along) when my lawyer checked with a live agent they said it’s transferred to a local field office, is that common? also can i trust the live agent? No idea why my case went to pending when my PD is current ( even in the latest July bulletin it is)

yes... cases can go to local office for final decision as it is a rule... so it is normal.. also they send out cases to FO to reduce NBC work load.. FOs can make final decision on interview and cases..
