thanks guys. ok so I’m gonna try to give more detail. initially I submitted affidavits, police report, psychological evaluation, bank details, lease agreement, health insurance. photos both here an with every trips we took. we dated for 6 years. for the rfe they wanted more proof to show it was good faith. I resubmitted all those stuff plus I got 5 more affidavit from friends and family speaking on the abuse, I submitted letter that I had to send to the judge because he was trying to obtain a fire arm. I submitted my counter claim for the divorce bc he sent me divorce docs base on abandonment. I add more family photos with my extended family. so I don’t know aside from those what else could I have done. it’s just sad

there is something wrong i have a friend they denied his i485 then his lawyer asked uscis to reopen his case after that they approved it so maybe u should do tge same

@kymm B it seems like your lawyer didn’t take your case serious by sending the same evidences again is not smart. those lawyers don’t care about your cases just money and even don’t focus on people’s cases. You probably didn’t convince them a good faith marriage by sending not enough evidences.

you said you received notice What was the exact reason USCIS listed in the denial notice? Was it lack of good faith marriage evidence, lack of abuse evidence, credibility concerns, or something else?

I’m also June 2022 filer. I don’t have work permit or SSN since June 2022. I sent expedite request in Feb got denied. my case is still processing but they are not answering to any one the emails/mails my lawyer and congressman has been sending. it’s 4 years for me they are not responding to my case. I have applied for everything all together.

@Quaa !!! my husband divorced me and on the divorce papers he stated that I abandon him, when he was the one who kicked me out of our apartment. so I had to do a counter claim and state the real reason. which is not abandonment.@a d no prima facie. my first so-called layer had messed up my application so my now lawyer corrected it. I have not received the letter yet only the notification on the app.

@kymm B I to got denied with all the evidence however I started the journey by myself in 2022. After the denial in Nov 25 I searched for a good lawyer and now he appealed it. In December 25 we received the receipt notice for the appeal and is just awaiting decision🤷🏼‍♀️I hope this helps. all is not lost! Shit you had way more evidence than me however they were very detailed in the denial notice, for example (they wrote “no dates on the pictures, it appears to be you and your husband on your wedding day” just a bunch of CRAP if you ask me!

Was the RFE responded on time?

All I can say is that I have seen here on lawfull people getting denied and when they appeal, they get approved. Honestly I haven't seen denials and people accepting and leaving nor getting second denial.

I think if they denied it on the basis of the rfe they asked for then maybe they wanted stronger proofs of “good faith” than what you had initially submitted . I suggest appealing and writing a detailed statement why you can’t provide stronger proof for that criteria. notlegaadvice

@kymm B Don’t cry baby… The lord has the final say! I’m trusting it will work out for us Alll…. Something I remembered while reading a comment is that they said my affidavit wasn’t detailed enough. My lawyer corrected that with the appeal in law terms😉

@kymm B what month 2022 did you file? also when they sent RFE you should have sent everything back. this has been seen a repetitive behavior with 360. mostly I’ve read here is they sent all everything back.

@Mein Gandu I filed June 2022 and yes I sent back all the evidence from before along with new ones. I don’t know if the lawyer submitted all. no prima facie. @Yomi odunlami no NOID just the rfe then denied.

@kymm B don’t give up God will change your story, I hope and pray you get a better outcome. I don’t know if you have a work permit yet, but I hope things go on well for you. please always call your new lawyer every time to check on your case always all the best

I received the letter guys. from what I understand it’s saying I didnt provide proof of termination of my previous marriage, which I was never married before this one.

Make sure you review your I-94 again and also the document your old lawyer submitted again to make sure no box ticked you as married .

.That’s good news. I would recommend reviewing your previously submitted applications to make sure you did not indicate that you were previously married. If everything is accurate, consider asking USCIS to reopen your case. This appears to be a simple mistake on USCIS’s part. You should be fine.

to this day my old attorney has not contacted as it relates to my denial notice and today is day 30. sighhh
