Case Approved Chicago Field Office!
Before the interview I was really worried. My wife and I were super nervous and prepared a huge folder, a mountain of evidence and photos.
However, after I got called into the interview office the process was simple. The lady was polite and nice enough, although somewhat curt.
She asked basic questions, took a few photos from our album and our joint bank statements and then approved the case on the spot. We kept trying to give her more evidence but she only wanted one or two things.
we are glad we overprepared rather than underprepared! I wish you all luck!

I brought everything possible. Reciepts of flights to see each other, photograph album, bank statements, letters from friends and family, bus tickets, movie tickets, all gift reciepts, dinner reciepts ect.

hey Ale, congratulations. how long did your case stay on “actively reviewing by USCIS” before it went to the next update and what was the next update after “case is actively being reviewed by USCIS”? just curious.

GED, it took about 2 months after getting the interview ready to schedule status to get the interview scheduled status

@ale I meant, what were the different status’s on your profile? as in after you gave bio, what was you status and then how long did you stay on that status for before you were issued a combo card or your interview was scheduled.
