Congratulations! I feel excited and nervous at the same time. I'm Dec 10th and so I'm excited that by this week I will hear good news but I'm scared because everytime I'm close to receiving an approval they extend the time. I just keep praying and having faith for a breakthrough. So many things I want to do!

Nick, June 24 and I was directed to do biometrics data submission and request for the expedite processing after that. I did the biometrics on July 22 and placed the expedite processing again and I never heard from them.

Mon, yes, these are different. At NBC, the family based ones are processed faster than that of employment based.

Clari, thank you. My local office is in Newark NJ. However, please note that the employment authorizations are not processed by local offices. The service centers (e.g., NBC, TSC, Potomac, etc) process the employment authorizations, if I'm right. I'm sure you'll hear good news next week looking at your PD. I wish you the very best as you wait for a decision on the application. I'm sure you will hear from them

Fazan, they told me that they have a huge backlog of expedit requests. However, at the same NBC, they approved the same kind of requests for people who placed requests later than the date I did mine. Thus, I noticed that they were not interested in my request.

Congratulations. I received my approval letters today but UPS still has the card in transit. I received a tracking number to see where it's at.

Qeens, thank you. It looks like we have different stories. I had only one update after "new card being produced" , and that is card mailed to me. I didn't receive any USPS tracking and all that. My wife picked it up a about an hour ago from the mailbox.

It seems so. I received updates every step of the way. Guess it depends on the officer. The approval notices I received today was printed on their official letter head. The one that states ''The United States of America '' with their seal. Maybe you should keep an eye out for your records.

Queens, I will checking the mailbox to see if I will receive something like that. If I don't receive it by the end of this week, I will chat with a live agent and get more information. Thank you for alerting me on this issue.
