Asylum case and NIW
If NIW case is approved while asylum is still pending adjudication for almost 4 years now, am I qualified to file for adjustment status (i-485) in the US or I have to go through the consular process outside the US to do that?

a lot of info missing: what was you status when filing for asylum and what is you status now (when filing for i485). any overstays before filing for asylum? (if you don't have a proper status atm)

@polya polisomnaya F1 status terminated April of that year, filed asylum October. Now contemplating filing NIW in the EB2 category. My current status is asylum pending adjudication.

you need a lawyer. probably you need to go via consular process. you are sort of out of status.

what about if he apply for asylum while he is still within status and go out of status while he is waiting for asylum interview.
