Asylum based green card - still waiting for travel document -_-
I applied in 2019 in December. I didn’t have any interviews. After waiting for 2 years and half, it went from biomaterics were taken to case was approved. travel document renewal is taking a long time. but now that I have the green card, it’s less risky to use the passport from home country

as long as you not traveling to your country of asylum then u should be good

if you have GC in hand you can easily travel with your own country pasport until it expires. there is no problem with that at all. but you can not go to your own country at all. but any other country you are free to travel.
i used my pasport with my travel doc together
