3 to 7 weeks before we receive the welcome letter? then would you guys know what is the average approval rate of NVC (provided documents are submitted and fees are paid).

Our I-130 was approved on March 26, 2024 and I got the email yesterday saying it was received by the NVC.

@lucky bun yes we already received the welcome letter, we completed submission of all financial and civil documents last april 23. so now waiting for review

@John Capri we got DQ’ed last May 13, 2024 already. Now waiting for IL, which they say will take 10 to 14 months (I’m from Philippines). So I’m expecting IL from March to July 2025.

After DQ do they send you case to an embassy in your homeland country right? But what kind of movement are you expecting from Illinois? or that abbreviation ( IL ) is stands for something else?

@John Capri IL means interview letter. after DQ, NVC should be sending your application to the US embassy of your respective country. For Philippines, the standard waiting time for receiving the IL is 10 to 14 months (from what I read from other peoples post, and thats for IR1 category)..
