Same here Sept/2019. From what I was told by my atty & other atty's in an online group that I'm in, USCIS is sending out RFE on Vawa cases even if you've sent the info in before. My atty filed for my 2nd EAD renewal the end of Feb/March of this year & I still haven't gotten one yet. Still waiting on Prima Facie also (expd Apr 2021) so I can renew my drivers license. This process is so frustrating.

@onyeama Kennedy You’re lucky! I’ve only received one EAD, 1 RFE (that I’m aware of) & 2 Prima Facie. If it wasn’t for my mother who is elderly & STILL working to support BOTH of us, idk what I would do. USCIS really needs a better system when it comes to Vawa cases. We need to be able to support ourselves. At this very moment, I’m going through my closet looking for items to sell so I can generate some income.

@AnnoSemmio From what I was told a new Prima Facie will be sent out 60 days after the expd Prima Facie’s date. How long has it been since you filed your Vawa? Decisions are taking anywhere from 21, 24 & 36 months.

@K P you can use your Prima facie to get Public Benefits, go to your county and apply ,at least food stamps to help your elderly mother in the aspect of food ,Shalom

@ Dr Dunkley ~ Thanks but that’s only possible w/a valid Prima Facie. Mine expd in April. Currently waiting on a new one
