I too received the fingerprints reuse. What was the status of your application prior to the newest update?

Same here! My first biometrics were from two years ago, and the application was dormant with no movement since then until I saw this new update two weeks ago.

the online case status will not show when your case gets transferred. it has likely moved to a field office, you need to reach out to emma agent and find out

its most probably not at NBC at the moment and got transferred to the local field office. the new update is about refreshing your security check which means it’s getting prepaird for final decision. if you chat with USCIS live agent you will be able to get more information about the case like the process i mentioned above. good luck

@a a live agent won’t give me a clear answer for some reason, they told me it’s at Nbc, i got fingerprint update on 11 july, then status in here changed to in process, you mean it’s in the process for final decision?

@owow dl yes, and someone who got their fingerprints refreshed around the same time got approved today, i saw the post earlier in the community. i chatted with a live agent and was able to tell me which field office its at and when was the last time an officer touched the application. and also told me the interview marked as waived. hopefully you will hear news soon, good luck!

Does your case say “in process” in this app? I just noticed mine does….not sure if it did before. It may have but I never noticed it.
