hey,on the JSON file from your instructions where it says click on the case number where do I find it cause I can’t see the case number on the json file?

@kindan make sure you’re on the network tab and have the Flex or something like that selected under the network tab. you should then reload your page and you should see it. I’m going to post another method much easier than this one

@Hector Chavez @Kim F. step 1: sign in to your main USCIS account step 2: paste this link on your browser and paste your receipt number after the slash, https://my.uscis.gov/account/case-service/api/cases/YOUR CASE NUMBER GOES HERE. step 3: copy your code and enter it in ChatGPT and it will tell you what it means. make sure you are logged in your main account otherwise it won’t work.

@Jesus is King worked perfectly! Thanks again. Seems my case is still pending some sort of Supervisor review before approval; just as the officer told me after the interview. No update yet. Kind of frustrating honestly.

@Hector Chavez I feel you man! I’m in the same boat. radio silence, no update. last time I spoke to Emma live agents they say conflicting stories. after asking for an update 1 sends a standard reply, You’ll become a citizen once you take the oath. USCIS will notify you via N445 of you naturalization day. the second agent just said you have to wait. USCIS has 120 days to complete your case decision

@Jesus is King I’m trying the same link you provided above for json. but I end up getting the null error on my end. I opened USCIS account on my iPhone safari browser where I can see my cases listed and then copy/ paste the link with my receipt number. Hope I’m doing the right way, but return with error. Any thoughts why?

@Ri Jo make sure you are logged in to your USCIS account before running the API

@Jesus is King yes I am logged in to USCIS account via browser, that I can confirm. I copy/pasted the link on the same browser where USCIS account is already open and aside did the same opening a new tab both ain’t working, returns with same null error.

@Jesus is King @Hector Chavez any update on your end? Mine continued to remain Interview was scheduled for N-400 from Oct 2025, until this morning. Now it changed back to ‘Case is still being Processed by USCIS’. Not sure why that case status after such a long wait from interview

@Ri Jo nothing on my end! they probably forgot my file lol but in your case it means they’re running another round of background check

@Ri Jo still nothing on my end as well. just complete silence since after my N400 interview in October last year. I’ve submitted inquiry and they reply with the same generic BS saying my case is still pending Adjudiction blah blah
