The journey was not easy, guys. I know there are no words that can truly take away the pain or give you the peace you are searching for right now. All I can say is, please stay strong.
I know how difficult it is—the screaming, the shouting, the endless crying, the sleepless nights, and those moments when everything feels completely hopeless. There are times when you feel exhausted, helpless, and wonder how you will find the strength to keep going.
Some pain cannot be explained in words; it can only be felt by the people who have lived through it. Take each day as it comes, hold on to one another, and allow yourselves to feel whatever you are feeling. You don’t always have to have the right words or answers.
Stay strong and keep holding on to hope, even when it feels incredibly difficult. My heart is with you guys, and I truly pray that you find the strength, comfort, and peace you need during this difficult time.

Global entry worth international travel?
Hello
my green card was issued on Jun2024. It is for 5 yrs.
I plan to travel abroad -outside the US soon.
Is the global entry worth the application and money?
what is the difference between having it and not having it when it is international travel?
is it easier entry-meaning, no cxxxY questions on the board?
Thanks.
i130 f1 timeline
Hi everyone,
My mother’s F1 petition (unmarried daughter of a U.S. citizen) was filed in November 2018, and our USCIS case status is still “Case Was Received.”
Our Priority Date has already become current according to the Visa Bulletin, but USCIS still hasn’t approved the I-130.
Is this normal? Has anyone experienced the same situation where the Priority Date became current before USCIS approved the petition?
Based on your experience, when do you think USCIS might approve our case?
Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences.

I’m from one of the 39 countries barred from adjustment of status. My asylum based adjustment has been updated to ready for interview
Case Summary:
I was granted asylum by an immigration judge in 2020 and filed my adjustment of status application in 2021. My application has remained pending, and my USCIS case status now shows “Ready to Be Scheduled for an Interview.” I am from one of the 39 countries reportedly affected by the recent adjustment of status pause, which concerns me because asylum-based adjustments are often adjudicated without an interview. I also have a single DWI arrest that occurred after asylum was granted and after I filed my adjustment application. The criminal case was resolved through pretrial intervention and dismissed with prejudice. I have never traveled outside the United States since being granted asylum. My concern is whether the interview is a routine step, related to my DWI history, or connected to the reported pause affecting applicants from my country.

Final timeline
This is my entire timeline and hope it could be helpful to anyone in a similar circumstance.
Long story short, married to a US veteran
Started woking right after recieving work permit approval
after almost a month after 2nd anniversary, and a year and a month after being interviewed i-130,i-485 approved
i-485 approved for permenant residence
no rfes
no action taken since the interview
means we did not submit any requests regarding why the case was being delayed.
Interview was for both cases
Attorney was present but we did not have an interpreter with us.
it was mostly about my yes/no questions(almsot all of them) and for our relationship there were less than 5 in my memory mostly asked to my husband.
Recalling it lasted less than 20 mins.
not from one of the banned/restricted countries
Thank you this community, it's been really helpful to me while I was so anxious and frustrated and when I was going through a lot of questions.
Now it's your turn to finish this immigration journey and have a wonderful life here with the ones you love and care, and with the ones who love and care back.
May the best of your wishes come true, one by one.
Love to everybody
