Differed action vencida!!🥺pd diciembre 2021
Hola, una pregunta para los que ya aplicaron a la green card por visa juvenil o no han aplicado pero ya se les venció el permiso de trabajo.
¿Cómo han estado haciendo con su trabajo?
¿Han estado trabajando con el permiso vencido?
lo que pasa es que yo soy pd diciembre 2021 y el differed. action se vence el 25 de agosto(ya casi) y con eso también el permiso de trabajo y la licencia.
la licencia ya la renové pero con lo de mi trabajo ya este viernes es mi último día.
yo hablé con mi abogado si podía trabajar con el permiso vencido y el dijo que no me podía decir ni que si ni que no.
Entonces tomé la decisión de parar de trabajar hasta que tenga el nuevo permiso c09 o la green card pero me da tristeza porque tengo en ese trabajo más de 3 años desde que me dieron mi primer permiso de trabajo.
y si me voy y a los 2 o 1 mes regreso empezaría cómo nuevo y ya no ganaría lo mismo.
ya tengo la entrevista en septiembre 15 pero no me quiero arriesgar a tener problemas en el futuro por haber trabajado con el permiso vencido.
mi jefe me dice que por el no hay problema y puedo seguir trabajando así con el permiso vencido mientras espero el nuevo pero ya he hablado incluso con otros abogados y no me recomiendan hacer eso. que opinan ustedes??

$500 additional fee from ENVOY
I am a client with BDV and already paid them in 2 big payments. I have recently received my medical RFE and BDV is not responding me whereas I have been asked to pay $500 upfront from ENVOY in order to respond it. is there anyone else having the same issue or not having any response from BDV?

Today, I submitted an inquiry through my state senator regarding my pending I-485—which has been pending since August 2024 (approximately 750 days). I also submitted a letter on company letterhead requesting expedited processing; I have a federal job and urgently need my Green Card. Do you think this might help?

I reached out to congresswoman last year september and uscis are now just responding to the request. what's interesting is that my major emphasis was my vawa and my ead was secondary since i wouldn't need it if vawa gets approved. turns out uscis just ignored it and only approved my request for ead. any experience?

VAWA I-360/I-485 transferred to Field Office for interview – anyone similar?
Looking to see if anyone has been in a similar situation.
* I-485 filed: May 3, 2021
* I-360 VAWA filed: February 9, 2022
* RFE response received by USCIS: April 8, 2026
* No updates or changes on either case in the USCIS online portal since then.
My congressman’s office just told me today that both my I-360 and I-485 are now at the local USCIS Field Office waiting for an interview slot to become available.
Has anyone had their I-360 and I-485 sent to a Field Office together for an interview? If so, how long did you wait between the Field Office receiving the case and getting your interview notice? And was the I-360 approved before or after the interview?

How are the VAWA cases filed between December 2021 and March 2022 moving along? Has anyone been approved recently?
We’re already past the 50-month processing time estimate, but I haven’t seen many approval updates or reports lately. Has anyone from these filing months received an approval?
