I am a former federal prosecutor and DHS attorney, and now I help immigrants with their immigration needs, whether its simple questions or complex and difficult issues. My unique combination of government and private sector experience provide me with strong experience to address your concerns. I am a Partner at Onal Gallant Bayram & Amin, where I focus on immigration issues including immigration court cases, naturalization, marriage based petitions, prolonged or delayed applications, waivers, and cases involving criminal history. Prior to joining the firm, I served as the first fully dedicated civil immigration Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA) for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey. In that role, I represented agencies such as U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of State (DOS) in federal district court. Additionally, I previously served as an Assistant Chief Counsel at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where I litigated hundreds of removal hearings in immigration court. I also frequently speak on panels and seminars on the topic of immigration law, including at American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) national conferences and the Federal Bar Association's Immigration Section national conferences.
