Following his tenure at DHS, Bledar returned to private practice, where he continues to passionately advocate for individuals and families navigating the immigration process. Bledar’s academic accomplishments are equally impressive. He earned his LL.M. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, in May 2016. He also holds a master’s degree in Governance, Compliance, and Regulation from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, graduating Summa Cum Laude in May 2013. Bledar completed his Bachelor of Law degree at Luarasi School of Law in Tirana, Albania, graduating Summa Cum Laude in June 2008. Licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut, Bledar has successfully represented hundreds of clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court), and U.S. consulates worldwide. Fluent in Albanian, Italian, and Spanish, he is able to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele, ensuring that each client feels heard, understood, and empowered throughout their legal journey.
