Are we allowed to work other part-time jobs such as Uber after getting a GC EAD card? does it impact anything?

I think you are allowed. But you can’t leave the country if you haven’t received your AP

@Sa O How about EAD obtained via EB2-NIW pending AOS as a dependent beneficiary?

@Tim Id You can’t work other jobs. You need to remember the letter that you signed.

@Sa O Sorry, pardon me. Which letter?

@Tim Id Letter of intent!

@Sa O Oh! got you. In the same vein, Letters of intent are not required for EB-2 NIW applicants, but they may be helpful. An EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition requires evidence to support the applicant's request for a waiver. The applicant will need to provide evidence for either the exceptional ability or the advanced degree category. The USCIS prefers independent reference letters, but other documentation can be used to demonstrate national recognition. Having said all that above, my original question was actually about whether the dependent of an EB2-NIW (derivative beneficiary) green card applicant can use the EAD (obtained through pending AOS) for Uber and the likes. Many thanks.

I don't remember signing a letter of intent so on EB3 GC EAD, you can't work side jobs even tho you have gotten a 5-year EAD card?
