Wom correspondence from Defendants
Hello, I need some feedback. I filed a writ of mandamus pro se and used a different address. I’m afraid that the government may want to contact me via postage mail and it won’t get to me. How did USCIS or defendant reach you to ask for extension? was it by a letter in the mail, by phone or email?

@Oliver Farm In my case, the Assistant U.S. Attorney contacted me directly. She initially asked me to agree to a 60-day extension, but I only agreed to 30 days. The government then filed the extension request with the court, and the judge approved the 30 days. I recommend making sure the court has your current mailing address and checking your email and the court docket regularly.
