it is good to have affidavit, just remember it should from someone who is legal here (US Citizen or Permanent Resident). You should attach proof of legal presence of witnesses and it’s good to send them to notary public

No one knows however, let each witness write the letter in their words rather than copy from a format. This was what my attorney told me. three of my witnesses wrote letters using their handwriting while one of the type it. All the letters were notarized at Checkers. Good luck

@survivor p they are us citizen and my lawyer did notarized it as well it’s just how strong will be your case if you have witnesses

@AUG 22 yep they writing the story of how the abuse happen and it’s came from them and what they saw

@Sal 25 stronger, if affidavits are strong. double check everything. affidavit should not contradict what you stated in your personal statement or other documents. USCIS look for details.

@survivor p do the usics will call my witness or let me testify in person ?

@Sal 25 no, they don’t call witnesses, no worries. and they won’t ask you tontestify in person. if they have any doubts/questions they will issue RFE

@survivor p perfect! cuse I have my witnesses done ! and last question the police report ( call harassment) is it too strong to evidence

@Sal 25 that’s perfect evidence, if you have called police because of harassment, and you have police report, that’s super good. did they ask you for more evidence of abuse?

@survivor p I don’t have the police report! cuse I been called the ice on me ! and the ice showed up and was a false report! so I had to call the cops so the ice can’t come again or believe her when she call the ice

@Sal 25 ohh, if you don’t have police report you can just mention about it. can I ask what evidence of abuse did you send first time?

@survivor p I do have a copy of the police report! but she called ice on me after I applied for vawa and my old lawyer only send the therapist letter not evaluation! but now I have police report and witness and a physical abuse ( picture of my toes damage by her )

@Sal 25 so send everything what you have. RFE is serious, so you should sent as much as you have with explanation. I have similar situation, my wife called police, and she said I was harassing her lol. Police came and they were very nice to me, they told me not to talk to her anymore. I mentioned about it in my personal statement.
