did you expedite because my wife expedited mine since on the 1 September and we haven’t heard anything she deployed in Europe

that's great ,. my baby's case(IR2) was approved last june 2021 but up until now no welcome letter received..so frusrating

@stella you should contact them and make an inquiry because that is outsode of the waiting time dont be worried to bother them because you never know you may get the help you want by calling all the time

i already call them (USCIS & NVC) but no agent are available to answer,they always tell we can see and read all the answer of all the questions in their website.. 😞😞😞.

so from what my friends say the ir2 visa is easy depending on the age of the kid how old is your child if i may ask

im just confused if my husband did a correct application for our daughter, he applied I-130 (IR2) for our 1yr old baby girl but his cousin who is also the same case as ours was when the US embassy manila consulate interview them, the i130 application was cancelled because the right application is CRBA( Consular report of birth abroad). my daughter was born here in the philippines ,his father is a US citizen.

@stella so my friend baby was born in the phillupines so let me ask him real quick guve me like 10 minutes to respond at most

so they immediately apply and file all the necessary documents for crba, i was a bit confused if that was the case,then why USCIS approved there application in the first place,they just paid for nothing and wasting long time . i am afraid if that would happen also to us because i dont think i can wait another months or year for this.. 10yrs LDR is not easy..😞😞

yea my friemd said the right application is CRBA due to the father being a us citizen so i would call the embassy and try to change it or see what you have to do its best if you can visit the embassy in person in my oppinion

i am here now in the cebu city philippines,i already inquire the us consulate here and they just only said to me that they are not affiliated to nvc or uscis for our case.

i think i might tell my husband to inquire and go the uscis office for clarification..

they are open from 8am to 8pm eastern time im also not in america right now im in south korea so it was a little difficult for me to get ahold of them it was long days and lots of days where i got little to no sleep

my friend had no issues applying for his son he got everything for his son before he even turned a year old

always make inquires so you have documented proof that your trying to do everything

my husband did not see our baby from the time my baby was born up to now,my baby will turn 2yrs old in 4months

ive been emailing uscis about this case and even us embassy manila but i dont think they given me the right path for outlr situation
