it is dependent on country of chargeability, and when you file. have you check back with Immigration (assuming you filed 2005). did you get a receipt number? from immigration form i-797c/-797? the process takes approximately 123.5 - 160 months. did you file all documents concurrently?

@ CC B I got a receipt number. when my petitioner contacted USCIS, he was told that the paperwork is at NVC

you are 15 years in and nothing from immigration? that's strange. were are you bringing family from?

if your case is with NVC then you are waiting for a visa to be available. in many countries this can take longer time 12 to 20 years. l would still make an inquiry to NVC.

My petitioner filed for two of us on the same day. My other sibling has been DQed but I haven't even gotten a welcome letter from NVC
