how long after your finger prints did you get your interview appointment?

second interview only happens if the officer suspects something

I'm in this situation, waiting a week after interview. Everything was perfect on interview day but still waiting for approval. Atlanta field office..

I am also waiting because the last update on my case is Aug 2020 which is my fingerprint. Do you think is it too much?

@deepee I got approved after 1 month. Atlanta field office. they have backlog for approvals. just keep praying and be hopeful. you will be approved soon

@aseret it could take days, weeks or months. this my lawyers said. they do background checks, sometimes investigations etc. just be hopeful and everything will be fine. some officers are slow.

@ITchy Ass ; I wonder how long they are going to take I should be patient I guess 😩😩 I wish I would’ve had a supervisor interview me so I could get an approval on the spot .

@deepee dolly .; Same my field office is Dallas Tx , I knew I wasn’t going to get an approval or denial on the spot because my lawyer told me most officers are new , and they can’t approve anything until it goes under a supervisor . But it still makes me nervous it’s been a week for me as well , let’s see how long this goes …

@Aseret Alvarado I filed it last April 2020 then August 11 2020 fingerprints taken until then it has no update. It’s just I-485, my I-130 is already approved.

@Jazel Gabriel , Wow that’s a long time is it based on marriage ? What’s your field office ?

@Aseret Alvarado yes, and my FO is Chicago.

Jazel Gabriel ; that’s very weird but I do see they are working on May,04,2020 ; it might be running behind I would wait maybe around 5 months and if you don’t receive anything give them a call or file the case inquiry online .

I already did, I called ths USCIS and they told me that my case is still in the processing time. 🥺

I don’t have yet my schedule for my interview. After I did my fingerprints there’s no update on my case since then.

they received mine sept 9th,2021 & January 8th,2022 they send me another letter for my fingerprints

I’m waitin to do my fingerprints on Tuesday

my lawyer said it should be from 4-6 weeks after that to gather up all my marriage evidence but not sure if it’s true or not

I got my approval the same day of the interview
