Hi Mansi- can you clarify what you mean regarding what would "happen" to your house? Are you concerned that it will no longer belong to you? The government cannot just take your home, even if you don't live in the United States. If you are the legal owner, and on the recorded deed, you shouldn't worry about that. The one suggestion I will make is that you should arrange for property care and maintenance. Leaving a home sitting unoccupied for long periods of time is going to cause a lot of damage if not kept up. There are services you can contract with for that.
