please help me understand this
I received this response from USCIS through my Congressman’s inquiry regarding my VAWA case:
“USCIS is aware of your inquiry and is monitoring progress related to it. However, unresolved issues in your constituent’s case require a thorough review before a decision can be made. Unfortunately, we cannot speculate as to when this review process will be completed.”

in simple terms, they’re currently reviewing or have to review it before they make a decision. But they can’t tell you when the decision will be made.

@phani cheru @Ann B they actually are not reviewing your case. I have been getting the same exact response anytime my congressman contacts them. in other words is a way of them telling you to wait until a decision is made on your case.

@phani cheru the last time I made an inquiry I was told the case has been assigned to an officer for review. But from my understanding, the response you got means your case is waiting to be assigned to an officer for further review
