how long has it been since the approval? I'm still waiting on mine. mine was approved on the 11th of May and nothing happened since then:(

your k1 visa case just gets sent straight to the embassy. the embassy will notify you when they receive your case. you need to check with the embassy processing your case if they are accepting new cases. the nvc has nothing to do with it

I spoke with the NVC and they should email the petitioner once they have sent your case to the embassy. Then the embassy will send a letter to the applicant with next steps. we were approved on Feb 25, 2020 and still have not heard from the NVC, and they confirmed my case was still with them. So it seems as though they are very backed up.
