We got approved!
everything went super smooth and didn’t hire a lawyer :) I agree a lawyer is very useful resource/tool to have, specially for challenging cases. however, immigration is not impossible to complete on your own :) #greencardhero

I applied for my wife she lives another country and I’m us citizen and after 1 yr today I seen they denied my case but I have submitted all documents but why they denied my case ?? and in this situation what should I do ??
Alan Alvarez18 de nov de 2021
two things. 1 did you ever get a request for more docs?
2 I might then hire a lawyer as they denied your case
Around US_BANGLA18 de nov de 2021
how much they charge ?
Around US_BANGLA18 de nov de 2021
yes they asked me for proved that my marriage was ligal Bcz when I got marry my wife’s age was 17 yrs 11 months and 27 days and I submitted all documents to them
Alan Alvarez18 de nov de 2021
I never used a lawyer but they can be expensive.
Alan Alvarez18 de nov de 2021
you prob need more proof to show you are married to her. maybe a home you both own. a bank account that clearly shows transactions from both parties.
Around US_BANGLA18 de nov de 2021
actually RFE department asked for prove that it’s legal marriage in my country because my wife was 17 yrs 11 months and 27 days that means she wasn’t 18 yrs old and I made a affidavit and signed by my countries law ministry and foreign ministry that it’s legal also my wife’s parents and my parents affidavit I have submitted still they denied

I’m from Boise too. Just got my EAD approved this week. Hoping to get my interview soon! How was your experience?
Alan Alvarez18 de nov de 2021
it was really good here in Boise. very friendly, they made jokes. we made mistakes but all good as we were nervous. is definitely not scary as I heard it was

congratulations!!! that is great news and very positive - I’ve in exactly the same position.
I’d like to know when you had three interviews for the I-130 / I-485 - is that normal? i would have thought if it was one concurrent filing you’d only have one interview?
you be18 de nov de 2021
